Our Core Values

At CaseMax, we've redefined the approach to legal technology innovation. While many in our industry focus on filling market gaps, we've chosen a path that prioritizes genuine client needs and tailored solutions.

Our philosophy is simple yet powerful: true innovation stems from addressing real-world challenges, not just market voids. We engage directly with our clients through follow-ups and user group meetings, listening intently to their unique pain points and aspirations. This collaborative approach allows us to craft solutions that anticipate future needs and address regulatory changes.

At the heart of CaseMax's success lies a core set of values that infuse every aspect of our product development. These principles guide our team in creating solutions that our CaseMaxters truly appreciate. It's this value-driven approach that has earned us the trust and loyalty of our partners in the legal community.

Building on Experience:
We cultivate strengths in people and in our application to achieve full potential.
Thomas Edison once said, "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.” Although we honor that ideal, we also know experimentation takes time, so we balance that with strength and experience.

We think it is just common sense to allow people to do what they are good at, as long as you also allow them to grow, so while people may have primary responsibilities in one area, you are likely to see them turn up in meetings and on projects in roles where they can experiment and learn.

This brings the whole team an added benefit of preventing knowledge from becoming compartmentalized.

Honoring Commitments:
We act with integrity; we speak truthfully; we respond swiftly.
If we say we will, we will. It really is that simple. We work hard to meet deadlines for our commitments, from the quarterly software releases and user group meetings to the daily deadlines for responding to and following up on Support requests.

Working Together:
It takes a team’s hard work and flexibility to succeed.
During the brainstorming sessions that produced these core values, the idea that "CaseMax is a family" came up more than any other comment. It is not just marketing hyperbole; we all feel  strong bonds of concern and respect for each other.

Building on experiences dictates that we combine the individual experiences from multiple people to form something great. We have all heard that it "takes a village" to accomplish any number of worthy goals. Well, it takes a CaseMax family to step up, collaborate, support, and share to meet the demands of our product and our clients.

Living on the Edge:
We expand our understanding continually in order to embrace the future.
Though it sounds dramatic, we aren't talking about free-climbing rock faces, paragliding from the tops of buildings, or participating in unsanctioned drag races. Instead, we mean the edge of discovery. We vow not to limit ourselves and instead look toward the continuous expansion of knowledge and understanding to seize and embrace the future. Albert Einstein said it best: “I'm more interested in the future than in the past, because the future is where I intend to live.”
